I find tranquility in the wild smell of the river, as it storms toward the evaporating light, of another day, now lost to the past. Standing there feeling the crispness of the coming darkness, and listening as the trees sway in the dissipating wind, until eventually settling their leaves. Mountains call me forward and upward, to the high places of the world. Where I can easily touch the stars as they play the silent majestic music of the luminous night sky. Where my eyes and thoughts slip into eternity and daylight has reluctantly released its chains of expectations, from my weary soul, if only for this moment. It is here where deep relevancies and meaning of life take form. Breath is caught short as to not miss any revelation as they soon disappear from the scope of my vision. For the night sky has revealed its secrets many times, only for them to be lost as the march toward recognition eats them away.
